Get to Know Fuquay-Varina, NC

In the early days of Fuquay-Varina, back when the town was two separate communities, tourists would flock to the area to visit the mineral spring that was said to have healing powers. Today, a plaque at Mineral Spring Park commemorates the historic moments that led to Fuquay-Varina's modern growth.

Now home to more than 25,000 residents, Fuquay-Varina joins Morrisville, Holly Springs, Rolesville and Knightdale as the fastest-growing communities in Wake County. This is in part due to Fuquay-Varina's proximity to Raleigh (about 30 minutes away) and Research Triangle Park (about 35 minutes away), as well as Fayetteville (about an hour away).
